Terms of sale — advertisers

Last updated: October 27, 2026 · Version française (the French version prevails)

1. Purpose

Coucou Ads is a service run by Adrien Gabillet (EI), a French sole proprietorship (SIREN 104420492, Marseille, France), “Coucou”. It lets an advertiser on a partner listing site (the “Platform”) launch an advertising campaign on Facebook and Instagram (Meta) for one of their listings. These terms apply to every order placed from a Platform’s Promote button and complement the Platform’s own terms.

2. Mandate

By paying, the advertiser instructs Coucou to buy advertising space from Meta on their behalf for the chosen listing, with the budget, duration, countries and languages they selected. Coucou prepares the ad from the listing, runs it and reports on it in the advertiser’s space.

3. Price and payment

  • The total price is shown before payment. Depending on the Platform, it includes the ad budget, Coucou’s service fees and, where applicable, the Platform’s commission; it may be shown all-in.
  • Payment is made by card at the time of the order, through Stripe. Coucou stores no card data.
  • VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code: prices shown are net, with no VAT.
  • Any credit available on the same Platform is deducted automatically.

4. Review and delivery

Every ad is checked before going live and is subject to Meta’s advertising policies, including those for real estate (restricted targeting). Coucou may refuse or adjust a non-compliant ad. If an ad cannot run, the unspent part is returned as credit or refunded. Delivery usually starts within 24 hours of payment and lasts the chosen number of days.

5. Estimates and results

Figures shown before payment (people reached, visits, contacts) are cautious estimates based on comparable campaigns, not a commitment. Coucou undertakes to run the ad as ordered; it does not guarantee a sale or rental, nor a number of visits or contacts.

6. Pause, stop and sold listings

The advertiser can pause, resume or stop the ad from their space. If the ad stops early, or the listing is sold or withdrawn, the share of the price matching the unspent budget becomes credit on the same Platform or is refunded to the card, as set by the Platform and shown at payment.

7. Content

The advertiser warrants they may publish the listing, its photos and texts, and that the listing is accurate. Coucou may correct generated copy or refuse an ad that breaks the law or Meta’s rules.

8. Liability

Coucou has a best-efforts obligation. Its liability is capped at the amount paid for the campaign concerned. It is not liable for Meta’s decisions (refusal, restriction, interruption) or third-party outages.

9. Personal data

See the privacy policy (in French).

10. Governing law

French law applies. Failing an amicable settlement, French courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
